Conan to TBS!

It seemed like Conan O'Brien developing a show for Fox was a done deal. Apparently, that would be news to Conan, Fox -- and TBS.

TV Guide broke the news that the former Tonight Show host is actually going to TBS. The network just confirmed the announcement.

"In three months I've gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I'm headed to basic cable," O'Brien said in a TBS statement. "My plan is working perfectly."

The one-hour how will debut after the World Series in November. It will air Monday through Thursday nights at 11:00 p.m. (EST), pushing George Lopez's Lopez Tonight back one hour.

"I can't think of anything better than doing my show with Conan as my lead-in," Lopez said. "It's the beginning of a new era in late-night comedy."

O'Brien left his Tonight Show post in January 2010. He has since been creating buzz on Twitter and kicks off his 30-day summer today today. Check out TeamCoco.com for dates and ticket information.
