Alan Tudyk Joins "Rockford" Reboot

Firefly fiends will be very excited to hear that Alan Tudyk has joined the cast of Rockford Files.

NBC is rebooting the '70s detective drama, with Dermot Mulroney in the title role. The Hollywood Reporter says that Tudyk will play Dennis Becker, Rockford's detective friend.

Tudyk is best known for his role in the sci-fi series Firefly. He's also starred in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Knocked Up and Serenity. He recently did a short stint on Fox's defunct series Dollhouse.
