NBC Picks Up "Parks and Recreation"

It looks like we're not the only ones who think that Parks and Recreation got into a groove this season. OK -- a lot of people think that, but you can add NBC to its growing list of fans.

The network has decided to pick up the sitcom for a third season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network provided the early encouragement so they could lock in the cast's schedules.

Parks stars Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari and Rashida Jones. The show airs every Thursday at 8:30 p.m. (EST) on NBC.
