It's Official: Conan is Out

NBC has made it official: They are no longer in the Conan O'Brien business.

After weeks of speculation and public insults, The New York Times says that O'Brien's last date as The Tonight Show host will be this Friday.

The agreement will pay O'Brien $32 million and keep him off TV until this fall. The question is: Will anyone pick him up at that time?

NBC has confirmed that the deal is done. Expect more details to come later today.

O'Brien will have some huge guests for his last two shows. Tonight, Robin Williams and Barry Manilow will sit in. Tomorrow night's final show will include Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell and Neil Young.

Jay Leno will resume his Tonight Show hosting duties on March 1.
