TLC Stops "Jon and Kate"

For months, people have been telling TLC to shut down production on Jon and Kate Plus 8. Well, it only took one person to actually make it happen: Jon Gosselin.

Entertainment Weekly says that Gosselin's lawyers have sent a cease-and-desist order to TLC, who in turn shut down the show's production. Apparently, he just started caring that crews were filming his kids all the time.

The show will keep shooting everything that doesn't involve the kids -- as if you don't get enough of that on the web.

Gosselin has also halted divorce proceedings. Does that mean he will also stop dating? We shall see, but the timing does seem slightly ironic. TLC announced earlier this week that Gosselin would be slightly edged out of the show, which would be renamed Kate Plus 8.

As far as we know, TLC still plans to launch the new and improved Kate Plus 8 next month. -- Rachel Cericola
