One show already received its walking papers. However, CBS is giving two of its new dramas some early season encouragement.
The network just announced full-season orders for both NCIS: Los Angeles and The Good Wife.
NCIS: Los Angeles stars former Batman sidekick Chris O'Donnell, rapper LL Cool J and Oscar-winner Linda Hunt. The show follows the antics of the Office of Special Projects (OSP) as they go undercover to bring down some of the nations most dangerous and elusive criminals. It must be pretty interesting. To date, CBS says that the show is averaging 17.47 million viewers.
With a slightly smaller audience, The Good Wife is also doing very well. It's another law-related vehicle for ER vet Julianna Margulies. However, this one has a twist because Margulies plays a woman forced to reenter the workforce (and the courtroom) after her husband's very public sex and political corruption scandal lands him in jail. The show also stars Christine Baranski and Josh Charles. That one is averaging 13.70 million viewers.
Both shows air every Tuesday on CBS. NCIS: Los Angeles has the 9:00 p.m. (EST) time slot, with The Good Wife airing right after. -- Rachel Cericola
