MTV apparently had some success with its "16 and Pregnant" show -- more than they've had with music, anyway. They are actually giving the show a spinoff.
"Teen Mom" will catch up with four of the girls from "16 and Pregnant," to see how they are coping with the first year of motherhood. Aside from dealing with the obvious, each episode will also follow the moms as they graduate high school, get jobs, deal with adoption, and handle relationships.
To get you pumped up, MTV is airing a Labor Day marathon (get it?) of "16 and Pregnant." The day will kick off with an encore presentation of "Life After Labor," which is hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky, at 11:00 a.m. (EST).
There's no word on when "Teen Mom" will premiere, but MTV urges viewers to check out StayTeen.org, a website partnership with The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy. -- Rachel Cericola
