Matt LeBlanc Back on TV

Matt LeBlanc is coming back to TV. After the two seasons he spent on Joey, this may not be good news to some. However, his new sitcom seems very promising, starting with the fact that it's on Showtime.

Episodes is an upcoming sitcom for the cable net. According to Entertainment Weekly and Showtime, the show is "about a British couple whose hit UK show is turned into a dumbed-down American sitcom starring LeBlanc (as himself)." How awesome does that sound?

The six-episode series was created David Crane (Friends) and Jeffrey Klarik (Mad About You). "Jeffrey and David have a great idea -- I love it," says LeBlanc. "I am really excited to be working with Showtime and the BBC. And I am so glad I got the part, seeing someone else play Matt LeBlanc would have been devastating."

Episodes should start shooting before the end of the year, with hopes that Showtime and the BBC Two will air it in 2010. -- Rachel Cericola
