Can you image owning every episode of "The Sopranos?" HBO and Warner can make that happen. Bada bing!
The two just announced a 33-disc set -- and that's not a typo. "The Sopranos: The Complete Series (Collectors Edition)" will include all 86 episodes, over 3.5 hours of never-before-seen footage, bonus scenes, featurettes, auditions, and lost scenes.
The breakdown goes like this: 28 discs of episodes, two bonus discs, and two soundtracks on three discs. The box will also include a 16-page episode guide. The set will hit shelves on November 11. Start saving; it will cost you $300 for that privilege.
If you're in the middle of an upgrade, the set will not be available in high-def yet. However, HBO and Warner will release the first season of "The Sopranos" on Blu-ray on November 24. There's no word on any extras, but we can't wait to hear people get whacked in DTS-HD Master Audio. That disc will retail for $69.98.
According to TVonDVD.com, this isn't the first time "The Sopranos" has gotten the high-def treatment. Season 6 was released in two parts (and in the now defunct HD DVD format) back in 2006/07. -- Rachel Cericola
