Apparently, the con is on -- and very popular. TNT has just announced a third season for its hit TV drama, "Leverage."
The show averaged 3.9 million viewers in its first season. Apparently, there was some good buzz, because it's picked up a few extras this season, for 4.1 million. Supposedly, it's also got a good following with DVR users.
Even though the show is currently airing its second season, the network is ordering 15 additional episodes. The second season will finish up this winter, with the third coming in summer 2010.
"Leverage" stars Timothy Hutton as Nate Ford, a former insurance investigator. Now he's in the revenge business, taking Gina Bellman ("Coupling"), Christian Kane ("Into The West"), Beth Riesgraf ("Alvin and the Chipmunks") and Aldis Hodge ("Friday Night Lights") all along for the ride.
"Leverage" airs Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on TNT. The summer finale will air on September 9. -- Rachel Cericola
