About 25 years ago, I would have killed to see C. Thomas Howell on my TV every week. Well, the wish has been granted a bit late, but the actor will soon be a fixture on "CMT's All Jacked Up."
The 8-episode half-hour series takes the actor around the country to witness (and sometimes participate in) extreme stunts, sports, events, people and inventions. Some of that craziness will include ostrich races, robotic dinosaurs and jet-powered outhouses.
Howell is probably best known for the '80s flicks "The Outsiders," "The Hitcher," and "Soul Man." He recently appeared in episodes of "Southland" and "Criminal Minds," and won the VH1 reality show "Celebracadabra."
