Jon Heder seems to have disappeared from the big screen. After the surprise hit "Napoleon Dynamite," the actor starred in a string of flops, but hit big with Will Ferrell in "Blades of Glory."
Now the duo are teaming up again -- not for another round on the ice, but for a Comedy Central sitcom. The cable network has committed to 10 episodes of the show, with the option to order another 90. Ferrell's regular cohorts Adam McKay and Chris Henchy are also writing and producing.
According to the network's announcement, Heder will star as an unemployed IT geek, who leaves the big city for his small hometown -- and to live with his parents and little brother. There's no word on the rest of the casting yet.
"We've always been fans of Jon's," McKay said in the release. "This deal gives us a chance to take some big creative swings without the risk of testing and focus grouping the show to death."
The untitled series is scheduled to debut in 2010 on Comedy Central. -- Rachel Cericola
