Leverage: The First Season Comes to DVD

Sure... everyone and their mother is getting a cable show these days. However, that doens't mean there aren't some good ones out there. "Leverage" is actually a very good show, and if you missed the first season, now is your chance to catch up on DVD.

"Leverage: The First Season" will be hitting shelves next week. The four-disc set includes all 13 episodes, deleted scenes, stunt fighting and more!

"Leverage" stars Timothy Hutton as Nate Ford, a former insurance investigator. Now he's in the revenge business, taking Gina Bellman ("Coupling"), Christian Kane ("Into The West"), Beth Riesgraf ("Alvin and the Chipmunks") and Aldis Hodge ("Friday Night Lights") all along for the ride.

The DVD set will retail for $39.98. However, not everyone will have to buy the set because we have THREE copies of "Leverage: The First Season" to giveaway!!

Just drop us a line below stating your favorite Timothy Hutton role/movie -- and why. You also must use a valid email address so we can annoy you for your address later. A winner will be chosen at random. You must be a U.S. resident to enter. The deadline for posts will be July 14 at 12pm (EST) -- the same day the set hits shelves.

If you haven't seen the first season, you might want to fire up the DVR. Season two of "Leverage" starts July 15 on TNT. -- Rachel Cericola

I have to say "Nate Ford". He has so many layers and I love the way he is both the black king and the white knight. He leads his team well. Tim is awesome

Nate Ford is my favorite good bad guy, but my favorite Timothy Hutton role is Archie Goodwin in "The Nero Wolfe Mysteries." Tim's Archie was perfect - tough, tender, serious and humorous. (Tim was aces as a director and producer in "The Nero Wolfe Mysteries" too.) After seeing Tim in The Doorbell Rang he became my favorite actor, and Stout's Nero Wolfe stories became my favorite books.

I definately have to say Nate Ford. Tim is amazing at portraying a modern day Robin Hood in an urban uungle, and even with all Nate's issues, he clearly takes charge and gets the respect needed from his team to get the job done.

Its got to be Turk 182 for me. What a cool movie. Hutton was pretty good for a simple 80's movie.

Oh man - I have to call a tie... Hutton as Donald Booth in a movie called "A Long Way Home" where he is split up from his siblings who are adopted by another family and goes on a journey to reunite the three of them when he's an adult - total tearjerker! The other would have to be TAPS. What a great film. I'm surprised they haven't tried to remake it yet.

Ordinary People. Tim did an amazing job - every note of his performance had perfect resonance.

Ordinary People was a great role for Timothy Hutton. Although I do enjoy him in the few Leverage episodes I've seen. Hope to win and get the whole first season DVDs. Yeah!

I think Timothy Hutton is fine as Nate Ford -- better in the Season 2 premiere than in Season -- but for me his Archie Goodwin in "Nero Wolfe" wins it in a walk. He hadn't gotten reviews like that since "Ordinary People," and he deserved them.
