"The Beast" to Hit DVD

Missed "The Beast" the first time around? Maybe that's why A&E just cancelled the drama.

If you have a curiosity about all things cancelled, you can soon score the first season on DVD. Sony just announced that "The Beast: The Complete First Season" will be available starting August 18.

"The Beast" starred Patrick Swayze as a rogue Chicago cop. Travis Fimmel, Kevin J. O'Connor, Larry Gillard and Lindsay Pulsipher were also featured.

The upcoming 3-disc collection will feature all 13 episodes, as well as 13 behind-the-scenes featurettes and interviews with cast and crew. It sounds like only Swayze fans need apply, but expect the set to retail for $39.95. -- Rachel Cericola

Fimmel's got a lot of fans. He's the only reason I watched it.
