"Nip/Tuck" Gets Clipped

Did anyone see this coming? FX has cancelled the controversial drama "Nip/Tuck."

It first debuted in 2003, and has been a hit for FX ever since. However, the Los Angeles Times says that the 100th episode was the last. The show apparently wrapped for good on June 12.

"I feel we've reached a creative impasse with regards to what we can do with this story," said John Hensley, who played Matt, one of the most self-destructive characters ever created for TV. "I feel like it was, quite frankly, told a long time ago. I say that trying to be right-sized about this because I am very grateful for this opportunity. I just feel that we were a show that was very good and innovative at one point and we've gone the way of so many shows before us. Our moment has passed."

The show also stars Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon. For fans stinging from the show's demise, it gets worse -- the final episodes of "Nip/Tuck" aren't expected to air until sometime in 2011. -- Rachel Cericola

This show was CRAP plain and simple.Julian McMahon character was simply as big an ASSHOLE here as he was on Charmed.I'm glad it'll be joining King of the Hill and My Name is Earl in oblivion.
