Fox Shuts Spike Up

Spike-Feresten.jpgWhen Fox announced it would cancel "MADtv," you'd think this would be good news for Spike Feresten. Think again.

The network has decided to start with a clean slate on Saturdays, giving the talk show host the boot as well.

For three years, "Talk Show with Spike Feresten" has aired in the late-night slot after "MADtv." According to Broadcast & Cable, a new show with Wanda Sykes will fill the "MADtv" timeslot. However, there have been no announcements about what might air after.

There's no word on when Spike will stop airing, but "MADtv" wraps its 14-season run on May 16. -- Rachel Cericola
