Is Fox Canning "Sarah Connor?"

Terminator.jpgApparently there's one thing we won't have in the future: "The Sarah Connor Chronicles."

According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, Fox is close to cancelling the sci-fi series. Lena Headey stars as TV's Terminator hunter, with Summer Glau as a sexy cyborg.

The show seemed to create a buzz, which fizzled once Fox stuffed the show into its current Friday timeslot.

There's no official word from the network, but don't hold your breath. Expect Fox to make some kind of announcement come May 18. -- Rachel Cericola

Ausiello apparently has written his article based on an article he denied was true last week. There are too many similarities in the two for it to be a coincidence.

Meanwhile, Josh Friedman the creator of the show, and Ashley Miller, a writer on the show have both responded to Ausiello's report stating it as untrue (well, really Josh makes a joke about it and doesn't directly state that it's untrue, but the meaning is there.) Also, Brian Austin Green, who plays Derek on the show did an interview with CBR which was posted yesterday and he stated that no decision has been made and that Fox really likes the show, so there's still some hope.

So when Ausiello quotes "everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks", he must mean that everyone except the creator, writer, and actor have known. Interesting how this is an exact quote from the same article mentioned above that Ausiello denied was true last week.

I really hope these ridiculous viral stories don't convince people that the show is actually dead. To get more accurate information, go to terminatorwiki.fox.com

It's so unfair to the fans of a truly good show that not only watch the show but record it so as to see it over and over again waiting for next weeks offering. Not only do I watch it but my Dad (Who's 78 yrs old) and my daughter and I watch it together so as you can see this show crosses generations and keeps them close. This show is worthy to, and I have, purchase the DVDs to enjoy at our leisure. Someone ought to let us Know if it helps a show to watch it on line also because I'll start doing that instead of watching the DVDs. Just tell us what else we can do for to cancell this show would be a travisty.
