When "Scrubs" jumped over to ABC, it almost looked like a new lease on life for the aging sitcom. However, Zach Braff wanted out. Then, so did creator Bill Lawrence. Now we see "My Finale" has a scheduled date.
According to Zap2it, the appropriately titled season finale will air on Wednesday, May 6. The hour-long episode will focus on J.D.'s (Braff) decision to leave Sacred Heart.
It's not a done deal that the show won't be coming back. However, execs aren't exactly clamoring, given the mediocre ratings this season.
Lawrence has moved on to another ABC comedy, "Cougar Town," which includes "Scrubs" guest Courteney Cox and series regular (and Mrs. Bill Lawrence) Christa Miller.
On March 18, "Scrubs" will move to Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC. - Rachel Cericola
It's good that this show is finally getting the boot.It was crappy on NBC and it sucked ass on ABC.
