We finally have a famous face to match up with the new "Melrose Place." It's not Heather Locklear; instead singer Ashlee Simpson has signed on to star in The CW's revamped drama.
Simpson will play Violet, a small-town girl, who is also a bit slutty. The Hollywood Reporter compares Simpson's role to the original's Sandy Harling (Amy Locane), while EW says she sounds a lot more like Laura Leighton's Sydney. You can decide when "Melrose Place" makes its premiere this fall.
Katie Cassidy and Michael Rady are the only other regulars that have been cast. -- Rachel Cericola
If there's one thing I can't stand it's a bad rehashing of crappy show.As far as i'm concerned it time for this crappy network to go down in flames. This network has dropped more bombs on t.v. than the R.A.F and 8th Airforce dropped on the nazi's
