Showtime Wants More "Tara"

Collette-Tara.jpgTalk about positive feedback!

We're only a few episodes into "The United States of Tara," and Showtime has already ordered a second season. The Hollywood Reporter says that the drama has averaged 2.1 million viewers each week since its January premiere.

Toni Collette stars as a housewife with dissociative identity disorder. Each episode shows off Tara's alter egos, as well as Ms. Collette's acting talents. John Corbett ("Sex and the City") plays poor Tara's husband. The show was created by "Juno" scribe Diablo Cody.

"The United States of Tara" airs every Sunday at 10:00 p.m. (EST) on Showtime. -- Rachel Cericola
