Nicollette Sheridan No Longer "Desperate"

Wisteria Lane will soon lose a resident.

E! Online says that Nicollette Sheridan will leave "Desperate Housewives." Sheridan plays Realtor Edie Britt on the hit dramedy.

Supposedly, Edie will be involved in some sort of car accident. Don't expect the drama to come down until April, though.

Sheridan spent seven years on the CBS drama, "Knots Landing." She is currently lending her voice to the big-screen animated film "Noah's Ark: The New Beginning."

"Desperate Housewives" airs every Sunday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC. -- Rachel Cericola
