It couldn't survive a second season, but will "Jericho" fair well at the box office?
We've heard the rumors; now producer John Turteltaub has confirmed his plans to bring the cult hit to the big screen sometime this year. Turteltaub says that stars Skeet Ulrich and Ashley Scott will be on board.
"It's fun to see the show won't die," Turteltaub said (via MovieWeb). "We're developing a feature for 'Jericho'. It would not require you to have seen the TV show, but it gets into life after an event like this on a national scale. It would be the bigger, full on American version of what's going on beyond the town in 'Jericho'."
"Jericho" starred Ulrich as a resident of a town in Kansas that survived a series of nuclear attacks throughout the U.S. The show first premiered on CBS in 2006, only to be cancelled early in its freshman season. It was then brought it back after fans sent pounds of peanuts to the network.
Since late 2008, reruns of "Jericho" have been running on The CW. -- Rachel Cericola

AWESOME ! The power of positive thinking and a whole lot of emails, postcards, billboards, etc. The Jericho Rangers are the BEST.

Since they stop the season of Jericho I stopped watching CBS this is the only way that they understand. Peoples have to know that it’s us who decide what we like not CBS.
At the place of the creator of the series I will move Jericho from CBS to FOX.
We WANT and NEED a 3rd season or Movie or BOTH!!! PLEASE!!!! :)
