Fox Orders Full Season of "Cleveland"

cleveland.jpgUsually shows have big ratings before they get a full-season pickup. Not so with "The Cleveland Show."

Fox has such faith that the "Family Guy" spin-off will be a success, TV Week says the network already ordered nine additional episodes, making it a full season.

"FOX picking up nine more episodes of our show is proof that an African-American can make it in this country," said a very animated Cleveland Brown. "This is a milestone for the United States of America."

Cartoon quotes aside, the network also says that controversial columnist Arianna Huffington will have a recurring role. No -- really. She voices one of Cleveland's new Virginia neighbors, who just happens to be a family of talking bears. Other voices include Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, Kevin Michael Richardson, Mike Henry and creator Seth MacFarlane.
