Want to see Rosie O'Donnell sing and dance?
There's no evidence that Rosie will be performing any numbers, but NBC has signed the former daytime star to return for "Rosie's Variety Show," an hour-long special with celebrity guests, musical acts and skits.
If all of that isn't enough to get you to watch, the network will bribe you with possible freebies. As part of the program, Rosie will do giveaways for both the in-studio and at-home audiences. That's an awful lot to pack into one hour. Plus, of course, there's always the chance that something will go horribly wrong because this baby is going to be live.
"This is a dream come true for any performer," Rosie said. "Old time variety, live from New York with a nod to Ed Sullivan, Carol Burnett and memories of Sonny and Cher."
This will be Rosie's first TV job since she left "The View" in 2007.
"Rosie's Variety Show" will air Wednesday, November 26 at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on NBC. -- Rachel Cericola
