Hope Davis, John Mahoney Getting "Treatment"

Dan-Real-Life.jpgBusiness is certainly booming for Dr. Weston.

Zap2it says that two new stars are headed to the couch for the upcoming season of "In Treatment." Hope Davis ("American Splendor") and John Mahoney ("Frasier") have signed on for regular sessions with Weston (played by Gabriel Byrne).

Mahoney will play a CEO dealing with age, while Davis appears as a former patient with an axe to grind.

"In Treatment" has Byrne starring as a therapist with a serious need for his own shrink. The series is based on a popular Israeli series with the same name, which ran just like the HBO show -- five nights a week for nine weeks.

The second season of "In Treatment" is coming in 2009. Byrne and costar Dianne Wiest are both expected to return. -- Rachel Cericola
