It's been a rocky ride for the newest season of "24."
According to MovieWeb, season seven of the hit action drama has shut down production until producers can figure out a new direction for the story. The show's latest season, which stars Kiefer Sutherland as relentless action hero Jack Bauer, originally was supposed to air last winter, but was moved to January 2009 due to the writers strike.
Fortunately, the show has already filmed 18 of its 24 episodes, so producers would seem to have plenty of time to avoid another delay. Apparently, they were not happy with the way the story was going, so they shut down to focus on the show's last arc. "24" is expected to resume filming sometime in October. -Chris Sardelli
