NBC Bans Actors from "Scrubs"

Sarah-Lancaster.jpgIt looks like even Masi Oka's powers can't change NBC's mind, as he and actress Sarah Lancaster have been prohibited from starring in the "Scrubs" finale.

As scoopmeister Michael Ausiello reported over at Entertainment Weekly, NBC has refused to allow "Heroes" actor Oka and "Chuck" actress Lancaster to reprise their guest-starring roles on what could possibly be the "Scrubs" finale on ABC. He said the reason may have something to do with how the show switched networks, from NBC to ABC, earlier this year.

"Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence told EW he was disappointed that the actors wouldn't be allowed to star in the series finale. The episode in question involves many of the most significant guest stars from the series' past eight seasons (similar to the "Seinfeld" finale), including Tom Cavanagh, Amy Smart and Nicole Sullivan.

Now if only Oka could go back in time and smooth some feathers at NBC. -Chris Sardelli
