"Dirty Jobs" Gets Down in October

Mike-Rowe.jpgSheep castrator? Leech trapper? Bologna maker? No -- "Fear Factor" isn't making a comeback. However, Mike Rowe will soon be getting down on new episodes of "Dirty Jobs," starting next month.

Discovery just announced 11 new episodes for the popular series. Rowe, who also has served as announcer for shows including "American Chopper," "Deadliest Catch," and "Ghost Hunters," will find himself in a slew of slop, funk and general ickiness.

Rowe will take his low slot on the totem pole as a tar rigger (October 7), potato chip maker (October 14), sheep castrator (October 21), and mannequin maker, among other bizarre jobs.

New episodes of "Dirty Jobs" will kick off on October 7. It will then air every Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on the Discovery Channel. -- Rachel Cericola
