Buffy Back on TV?

Sarah-Michelle-Gellar.jpgIs Buffy coming back to TV? Maybe and sort of.

Don't expect the cult hit to get resurrected, but the actress also known as Sarah Michelle Gellar (or Mrs. Freddie Prinze, Jr.) is being wooed by HBO to star in a new drama, "Wonderful Maladys."

According to BuzzSugar, the half-hour, half-drama, half-comedy focuses around three adult siblings that were orphaned at an early age. Screenwriter Charles Randolph ("The Life of David Gale") apparently wrote the part with Gellar in mind.

Gellar has not signed on just yet. If all goes well, the pilot should start shooting in early 2009. According to IMDB, Gellar has four other projects in the works. -- Rachel Cericola
