"Intervention" Branches Out

intervention-allison.jpgThere's one addiction I can't shake -- watching A&E's "Intervention." The show is sad, gripping, and sometimes just bizarre. (Did anyone else see Allison, the girl that was addiction to huffing on computer cleaner?)

To further that monkey on your back, A&E has announced "Intervention: After Treatment." The show asks former addicts from the last four seasons to come in and have a candid discussion. Interventionists Jeff Van Vonderen, Candy Finnigan and Ken Seeley, as well as family members, are also scheduled to appear. That should be equally as addicting as the original.

"Intervention" was recently nominated for a 2008 Emmy. The show is currently in its fifth season.

"Intervention: After Treatment" premieres Monday, September 8 at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on A&E. -- Rachel Cericola
