CBS Looking to Leave "Swingtown?"

swingtown.jpgApparently, all is not happy in "Swingtown." CBS is looking to do some swapping of its own -- to get rid of the '70s drama.

Broadcasting & Cable says that the network is disappointed by the show's poor ratings. However, instead of dumping it, they wouldn't mind having a cable network pick it up.

A few nets, including DirecTV, have supposedly been interested. Producers and the network aren't saying anything at this point. The show premiered on Thursdays, only to be banished to its current Friday 10:00 p.m. timeslot.

"Swingtown" is set in a 1970s Chicago neighborhood, where the neighbors are more like friends with benefits. It stars Molly Parker, Jack Davenport, Grant Show, Lana Parrilla, and Josh Hopkins. -- Rachel Cericola
