Tim Roth Heads to Fox

troth.jpgFresh off the success of "The Incredible Hulk," Tim Roth is shedding his Abomination skin and heading to the small screen.

Variety says that Roth will make his TV debut in Fox's "Lie to Me."

Roth will star as Dr. Cal Lightman, a scientist and "human lie detector," who uses science to help solve crimes. The show is based on the true-life work of Dr. Paul Ekman. Fox has given the show a 13-episode order.

"Lie to Me" will be a joint effort from Brian Grazer/Ron Howard's Imagine Entertainment and 20th Century Fox TV. Expect it to premiere in early 2009. -- Rachel Cericola
