Katie Holmes Lands On "Stone"

kholmes.jpgReady to try her hand at television again, Katie Holmes has signed up for an episode of ABC's quirky drama "Eli Stone" this fall.

According to Reuters, Holmes, whose last regular TV gig was the WB's "Dawson's Creek," will showcase her singing and dancing talents in the guest appearance. The role will also be a reunion of sorts for Holmes and "Stone" exec-producer Greg Berlanti, who worked together on "Dawson's Creek" for over five years. ABC execs have admitted Holmes' guest role will be great publicity for the show.

Despite declining to reprise her role in this summer's Batman sequel "The Dark Knight," Holmes is staying busy. After she films her spot on "Stone," she's set to star in the Broadway production of "All My Sons" with Dianne Wiest and John Lithgow. --Chris Sardelli
