Courteney Cox "Scrubs" Up

ccox.jpgGuess who's checking in to "Scrubs" Sacred Heart Hospital? It's none other than our old friend Courteney Cox.

The actress will star as Sacred Heart's new Chief of Medicine for at least three episodes, according to MovieWeb. Her character replaces Dr. Kelso (actor Ken Jenkins) whose character retired at the end of last season. As Entertainment Weekly reports, the new boss will "ruffle feathers."

Cox's latest foray into television, the FX show "Dirt," was not well received and was recently cancelled. She's best known, though, for her role as obsessive cleaner Monica Gellar-Bing on the long-running sitcom "Friends."

The show will air its new season on ABC, after NBC dropped it from its schedule. --Chris Sardelli
