Another awards season is upon us. Today we found out who and what would be a contender at the 60th annual Primetime Emmys. Here a look at who got graced with nominations -- and who didn't.

The HBO miniseries "John Adams" also scored 23 nominations. The show and cast of "Desperate Housewives" didn't make the cut this year, and "Ugly Betty" and "Grey's Anatomy" are also missing from their respective categories.
