The HBO miniseries "John Adams" also scored 23 nominations. The show and cast of "Desperate Housewives" didn't make the cut this year, and "Ugly Betty" and "Grey's Anatomy" are also missing from their respective categories.

ALEX O'LOUGHLIN was magnificent in the series drama Moonlight. Even though the series was cancelled (bad judgement for CBS), his performance was so wonderful, that I absolutely believe ALEX O'LOUGHLIN should have been nominated for: Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series.
