Richie Signs Up for "Chuck"

NBC's spy comedy "Chuck" will be adding a new name to its list of evil villains this fall, Nicole Richie.

According to People, the former "Simple Life" star (and former Paris Hilton friend) will play Special Agent Sarah Walker's old high school enemy. Specifically, NBC describes her character as "snarky and spiteful." Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) plays one of the two agents assigned to protect Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi), a guy whose mind contains all the government's top secrets.

Aside from her several seasons as Paris Hilton's sidekick, Ritchie has also made appearances on "8 Simple Rules…For Dating My Teenage Daughter" and "American Dreams," reports MovieWeb.

Richie should make an interesting addition, but let's just hope she doesn't bring Hilton with her. "Chuck" will air Mondays at 8 p.m. this fall. --Chris Sardelli
