Laurie Metcalf to Make "Easy Money"

Even loan sharks have family. At least, that's the premise of actress Laurie Metcalf's new drama for the CW.

Titled "Easy Money," the new show will feature Metcalf as the head of a family of loan sharks, reports MovieWeb. Metcalf's character will run the family business, and the show will focus mainly on her and her middle son. The drama is set to air during the network's new Sunday lineup, at 9 p.m.

Metcalf is best known for her role as Jackie on the sitcom "Roseanne," but has starred in several other series over the years, such as "3rd Rock From the Sun," "Frasier," "Without a Trace," "Monk" and "Desperate Housewives." In addition, she's landed movie roles in "Fun With Dick and Jane," "Georgia Rule" and "Stop-Loss." --Chris Sardelli
