Jericho - The Movie?

jericho.jpgCould "Jericho" be the next "Arrested Development?"

OK -- one was a comedy on Fox, the other a CBS sci-fi drama. However, Showbiz Spy says that the cancelled cult hit could also be heading to the big screen. Of course, at this point, both ideas are just out there -- no one's filming anything yet.

Another similarity: The "Jericho" rumor was kick-started by show stars Ashley Scott and Brad Beyer. "Jericho" also starred Skeet Ulrich ("Scream") as a resident of a town in Kansas that survived a series of nuclear attacks throughout the U.S.

"Jericho" was cancelled in 2007, at the conclusion of its first season. Due to fan response, CBS brought the show back for a second season -- only to cancel it again earlier this year. -- Rachel Cericola
