Robert Rodriguez Shops Rose McGowan

rmcgowan.jpgEveryone loves a good girls-gone-bad plotline.

First, Fox announced an all-female version of "Prison Break." Now Robert Rodriguez is shopping around "Women in Chains!" a women's prison drama. Rodriguez's fiancee, Rose McGowan, will star as one of five women at the center of the series.

Ain't It Cool News says that the show will be violent and feature plenty of '70s-style exploitation, such as mud wrestling and "Cafeteria Hosedowns" -- hence, the exclamation point in the title, we're guessing.

Despite the steamy content, NBC and FX are supposedly considering the show. It would probably work better on HBO. However, The Hollywood Reporter says they have already inked a deal with "Six Feet Under" creator Alan Ball for a U.S. version of the UK prison drama "Bad Girls." -- Rachel Cericola
