"Reaper" Gets Renewed

reaper-magic.jpgMaybe the devil made them do it -- either way, we are happy to report that The CW has picked up "Reaper" for a second season.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the network has ordered 13 new episodes, which will start in the middle of next season. The plan is to pair the comedy with "Supernatural" once "Smallville" has wrapped its run.

"Reaper" revolves around Sam (Bret Harrison), who finds out on his 21st birthday that his parents sold his soul to the devil. To pay off the debt, Sam agrees to become Satan's (Ray Wise) minion, bringing escaped souls back down to Hell.

"Reaper" currently airs Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on The CW. -- Rachel Cericola
