Can reality TV be used for the greater good?
That's the idea behind "Secret Millionaire," Fox's new unscripted series. The show will have wealthy individuals leave their riches behind for the rags of America's most impoverished neighborhoods.
The show will be shot documentary-style, asking its participants to live on minimum wage, work in the community, and make friends. It sounds suspiciously like the debut episode of "30 Days," no?
Expect tears to be shed, odds overcome, and at least 100 grand to be given away -- to the ones touched most by the millionaires.
Broadcasting & Cable says that "Secret Millionaire" is based on an RDF UK format and the Channel 4 hit of the same name.
There's no word on when the show will premiere. -- Rachel Cericola
I do'nt have a comment, I have a question.
How does one learn how to apply to be on one of these shows?
I am a widow of 2 years, working 2 jobs and one of them is 7 evenings a week, just to have a little extra after paying all my bills.
Why is it no TV Company ever comes to West Virginia?
Thank you for your time
