Khandi Alexander Quits "CSI: Miami"

kalexander.jpgAnother "CSI" star is jumping ship. Last week, it was Gary Dourdan. This week, Khandi Alexander has left the "Miami" installment.

King of all scoops, TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, says the TV vet had some "issues" with the show, but of course, no one's talking. It's an odd statement, considering that she's been with the show from the beginning.

Alexander's contract expires at the end of this season. Apparently, her replacement won't be able to fill her shoes -- because Ausiello says it's going to be a man, baby.

According to IMDB, Alexander doesn't have her next project in the pipeline. I would love to see another comedy credit on there; she rocked "NewsRadio."

"CSI: Miami" airs every Monday at 10:00 p.m. (EST) on CBS. -- Rachel Cericola
