Two familiar faces will soon be popping up on your TV -- possibly.
"Dancing With the Stars" queen Jennie Garth has dropped her new comedy for CBS. Garth was originally supposed to star in the sitcom, "My Best Friend's Girl." However, Kristin Booth ("Paradise Falls") is now in Garth's role.
The decision was supposedly mutual, although no official word was given. Garth's father recently passed away, and there's no word on whether that played into the decision. The Hollywood Reporter says that inquiring minds -- or at least old fans of "90210" -- are wondering if Garth will soon be moving back to her old zip code and the CW for the recently announced "90210" spin-off.
Garth spent four seasons on the WB (which soon after became the CW), opposite Amanda Bynes in "What I Like About You."
In other sitcom news: Jerry O'Connell has been cast opposite Niecy Nash ("Reno 911") for the Fox comedy, "The Inn." Call me crazy, but I think this could be a winning pair if the script is right. "The Inn" will focus on the help at a New York hotel.
There's no word on when any of the three shows will debut on their respective networks. -- Rachel Cericola
