Gary Dourdan Quits "CSI"

gdourdan.jpgWhy would you quit a hit TV show? Don't ask Shelley Long; ask Gary Dourdan. TV Guide's Michael Ausiello is reporting that the actor has resigned from the hit CBS show "CSI."

Dourdan, who plays CSI team member Warrick Brown, has been with the show from the beginning. His contract expires next month.

This is the second "CSI"er to leave this season; actress Jorja Fox departed from the show in November.

Ausiello says that the May 15 season finale could be Dourdan's last episode. Although there has been no official announcements, producers are supposedly already searching for Dourdan's replacement.

"CSI" airs every Thursday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on CBS. -- Rachel Cericola

Mr. Dourdan is a fine actor I first saw him in a movie playing George Jackson the political prisoner and Black Panther. I really hate to see the brother leave CSI but you got to do what you got to do. Good luck.
