"Family Guy" Guys Sue Fox

guy-woods.jpgFox has built quite a little empire on Sunday nights. Now one of its shows has threatened to break up the animated family.

The Hollywood Reporter says that "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane and 15 writers have slapped a suit on Fox, claiming "breach of contract and deceit." That doesn't sound nice.

Apparently they aren't getting paid for extra footage used in the 2005 DVD "Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story." That doesn't sound nice either. There are also claims that the writers did not receive proper on-screen credits.

As far as we know, the suit should not interrupt any upcoming episodes. However, it can't make for a comfortable room next time negotiations need to come up.

"Family Guy" airs every Sunday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on Fox. -- Rachel Cericola
