Robert Irvine's "Impossible" Resume

rirvine.JPGIt seems that chef Robert Irvine's resume turned out to be his biggest challenge.

The host of the Food Network's "Dinner: Impossible" has been fired over accusations that the celebrity chef lied about some of his credentials.

A recent article in the St. Petersburg Times had Irvine admitting that he lied about some of his accomplishments, including being knighted by The Queen and designing Princess Diana's wedding cake.

The Food Network will continue to air new episodes, as well as reruns. However, they have opted not to renew Irvine's contract. TMZ says that they are also looking for a new host.

"Dinner: Impossible" airs every Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. (EST) on the Food Network. -- Rachel Cericola
