Awards for Keepin' It "Real"

realworld-sydney.jpgIn case you were worried about a possible shortage of awards shows, MTV has decided to kick one more into the frenzy with "The Real World Awards Bash."

Aside from presenting awards for compelling TV moments such as Best Meltdown, Best Brush with the Law, and Best Phone Call Gone Bad, my guess is that the show will just make most of us feel old when they trot out cast members from the past 20 seasons.

That's right -- 20 seasons. The show actually seems like more of a marketing ploy to pump up the 20th season, "The Real World: Hollywood."

Viewers can relive those faux-reality moments on the web, and vote for favorites.

The actual awards will be given out on March 15. However, you'll have to wait to see who took home prizes when MTV airs "The Real World Awards Bash" on March 29. -- Rachel Cericola
