"Arrested Development" Creator's "Sit Down" with Fox

pderossi.jpgNever say never. It appears that past dealings between Mitch Hurwitz and the Fox network are now water under the bridge.

Zap2it says that the creator of "Arrested Development" has been talking to the network about developing the comedy "Sit Down, Shut Up."

If the network likes the table read, it could go straight into production.

The weird thing, aside from the two being on speaking terms, is that instead of live-action, Hurwitz is planning to animate the Australian import. Another live-action-gone-animated series, "The Pitts" is also on the fast track for development at the network.

"Sit Down, Shut Up" aired a total of 13 episodes in Australia. It focuses on a group of teachers at a dysfunctional high school. -- Rachel Cericola
