Val Kilmer Will Voice KITT

knightrider.jpgFunnyman Will Arnett is no longer under the hood of the new "Knight Rider."

The actor was originally slated to voice the car for NBC's revival series. However, due to his contract with GMC, he had to back out. See, KITT is a Ford Mustag. Aha.

Actor Val Kilmer has been asked to take over for Arnett, says Variety.

The new "Knight Rider" will focus on Mike Tracer (Justin Bruening), the spawn that Hasselhoff's character never knew existed. The Hoff will be present for the 2-hour movie. If all goes well, it could get picked up for a series.
