TruTV Pulls Plug on "Star Jones" Show

It looks like Star Jones Reynolds is out of a job…again.

Entertainment Weekly reports the "Star Jones" show, which ran for only six months on TruTV, will air its last episode on Friday, February 1. The self-titled show was designed to draw on Reynolds' years of legal experience as an Assistant District Attorney in New York. She hosted the self-titled legal talk show after leaving ABC's "The View" in 2006.

Marc Juris, exec-VP of TruTV (formerly known as Court TV), is quoted on The Hollywood Reporter as saying the show no longer fit the channel's new direction and format. Apparently, though, Star will stay on with the network as a trial commentator. --Chris Sardelli
